The Mission

Why? Why is human nature thus? What is it that moves us to covet, to envy, to desire what we do not have? Why can we not be content with what we have? Is this really so hard? I cannot comprehend it. I see life now, and I remember history and I wonder. Is this earth? Or is it, as I have heard, that “The world is not thus, thus have we made it”? The order, be they religious or lay, moved us toward a better world. What has happened to them? Can we have become so blind? When did it happen and why do we not do anything about it? Are we really true followers of Machiavelli, that we do not see love anymore?
“If might is right, then love has no place in this world”. Love is necessary, love is truth, love is all and we cannot do anything without it. Why is this universal truth not recognized? Have we not endured enough, suffered enough, learned enough, throughout our entire history to recognize this truth? What have the martyrs done, and here I talk not only about Catholics, but also about Socrates, Cicero, Hidalgo, and so many others, but die to show us the truth?! And we still do not recognize it; we still do not embrace it. No wonder we are so screwed. No wonder we wage wars upon one another, killing without remorse. We are rats cowering in our hole, and we dare not go out and live free.
I cannot express myself in words, my emotions are too strong, they run out of me. I only seek to make this world better, to make it livable at least. And I know the way to do it. History has lived to teach us this. And as a faithful son of it, I seek to amend the mistakes and errors and inhumanities committed. Follow me, or more exactly follow the precepts I seek.
Carpe Diem
